Surf Sheffield was established in 2020 by a group of undergraduates driven by a collective love for the ocean and a desire to cherish life's adventures. We believe that adventure knows no bounds and that even in a city far from the coast, the spirit of surfing can thrive. With Sheffield as our base, we've woven a tapestry of oceanic energy amidst the steel and concrete.

 

Whether you're a seasoned surfer or someone who has yet to catch their first wave, we welcome you with open arms. Here, everyone can experience the magic of riding the waves, forging lasting friendships, and discovering the undeniable beauty of the great outdoors.

Throughout the year, we venture to the most breathtaking surf spots across Europe and the UK. From the sun-kissed beaches of Portugal to the rugged coasts of Cornwall, we chase the perfect wave, eager to embrace the sheer exhilaration of the surf. But it's not just about the waves; it's about the unforgettable memories we create along the way.

In addition to our epic surf trips, we regularly host a variety of social events right here in Sheffield. From charity gigs that resonate with our giving spirit to invigorating hikes in the Peak District, we believe in exploring every facet of the outdoors. Our BBQs bring together laughter, good food, and even better company, while our 'Surf Family' events solidify the bonds we share as a community.
